bigThis take on the supposed aches of single thirty-somethings of the fairer sex could have been an interesting watch, if not for the fact that it is botched by a weak storyline and an anticlimactic ending. The movie revolves around three single female friends with differing attitudes toward men and relationships, but with the same desire of snagging the perfect partner. In the process, the three go through the usual dating scene, almost always ending in predictable and worn-out mishaps. Nothing much is done to make the three look smarter and mature for their age; instead, they come across as petty and self-absorbed brats weaning their way, rather belatedly, into adulthood. Before the credits roll, one of the three ends up tying the knot – a cliché ending that underscores the pointlessness of this movie.
